Our Education Spaces
Our Education Space is based on a 4 acre site with a well established woodland, rich in biodiversity allowing students to access a range of eco therapy, artistic, practical and subject based activities.
We also have access, through the Village Hall, to Tennis courts and an indoor kitchen. Just a short walk away is the beach which lends itself to a plethora of further opportunities for our students.
Our Veggie Plot
Students will learn about growing and cultivating organic vegetables. Encouraging them to connect with themselves and the land with practical, education tasks.
The Classroom
Our shepherds huts make up our classroom setting for a relaxed learning environment.
Safe Spaces
Our shepherds huts provide a safe and calm space for students to take time out and share their emotions and experiences with our trained staff.
Space to Be
Spanning 4 acres of wild land, our site provides space for children to explore and connect with nature. To feel free, but in a protected and managed environment.
Tennis Courts
Branscombe tennis courts are within walking distance of the centre and are regularly used with students.
Kitchen Facilities
Whilst our own kitchen is being developed on site, we use the Branscombe Village Hall Commercial Kitchen to teach student's basic cooking and guide them towards qualifications.
Technology Access
As our education centre is off-grid, we use the Branscombe Village Hall for our internet based learning when necessary.
Additional Locations
Branscombe Village Hall and Beach are within a 15 minute walking distance from the centre, and will be core locations for some of the activities at The Patch Project.
