Regularly assessing and monitoring student understanding, using assessment outcomes to inform teaching and guide timely, targeted interventions.

Planning uniquely for each student, creating inclusive and accessible learning experiences that support both academic and personal development.

Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE preferred but not essential), with proficiency in delivering lessons to secondary-aged students.

Have experience working in a SEN setting and understand the importance of a flexible, pupil-centred approach.

Be skilled in planning and delivering curriculum content using a variety of teaching styles and methods to engage and inspire diverse learners.

Show commitment to inclusive practice, positive behaviour management, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

Possess a full driving licence and your own car, as the role involves transporting students.

Providing support and a listening ear for students, to identify their passions and interests, and to design activities that will allow them to connect with their curiousity.

Comfortable lone working and escorting students outside of the setting.
