Example Daily Activities

Our Programme works on a 1:1 or small group basis, focusing on hands on, experiential and choice driven activities, helping students to develop passions, interests, trust and increased self- esteem. Our site is located on 4 acres of natural woodland, with access to the beach and tennis courts, as well as a wide variety of creative and culinary activities.

Cooking

Food preparation and communal eating is a fundamental part of The Patch Project's learning initiative. Encouraging young people to understand where their food comes from, alongside developing basic cooking skills.

Sports

The Patch Project land offers vast space for sports, including badminton, football and tennis.

Arts & Crafts

Students will explore creative expression with our qualified art teacher in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Outdoor Pursuits

Situated in East Devon, and close to the sea, The Patch Project is linked to outdoor education facilitators, where students can explore adventure, develop outdoor skills and build self esteem.

Growing

The Patch Project hosts a large greenhouse and growing space. Students are encouraged to take part in a variety of growing and garden maintenance activities.

Social Enterprise

The Patch Pantry is a scheme within The Patch Project, encouraging students to explore business development by selling homemade products, such as jams and marmalades, which are sold in local shops.
