Green Prescriptions
Green social prescribing is the practice of supporting people to engage in nature-based interventions and activities to improve their mental and physical health.
Example Activities
Our Programme works on a small group basis, focusing on hands on, experiential and choice driven activities, helping individual's to develop passions, interests, trust and increased self- esteem. We have a dedicated team of mentors and therapists to support individual's in connecting with themselves, nature and creativity.
Our site is located on 4 acres of natural woodland, with access to the beach and tennis courts, as well as a wide variety of creative and culinary activities.

Growing
The Patch Project hosts a large greenhouse and growing space. Individual's are encouraged to take part in a variety of growing and garden maintenance activities.

Cooking
Food preparation and communal eating is a fundamental part of The Patch Project's learning initiative. Encouraging people to understand where their food comes from, alongside developing basic cooking skills.

Arts & Crafts
Explore creative expression with our qualified art teacher and therapist in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Sports
The Patch Project land offers vast space for sports, including badminton, football and tennis.

Outdoor Pursuits
Situated in East Devon, and close to the sea, The Patch Project is linked to outdoor education facilitators, where individual's can explore adventure, develop outdoor skills and build self esteem.
